If you have accessibility issues that mean you require a wheelchair space and certain seats please contact us to join our access list. Once you’ve provided proof of disability (eg Nimbus Card, Disabled Badge) we will endeavour to notify you ahead of any general sales of shows so that you can book the seats you require.

As a not-for-profit theatre relying on ticket and bar sales to stay open we regret we are unable to offer discount or carer tickets. Please note access seats are limited, non-refundable, and available on a first-come, first served basis. While we will make every effort to give advance notice of shows sometimes it might not be possible.

You can book seats via TicketSource. On most shows you will be asked the number of tickets required, so please count a wheelchair if you are using one. Then you will be asked to pick seats. The spaces for wheelchairs are A0, C0 and E0. Select these and any other seats then move on to payment options, and how you want the tickets.

While we endeavour to hold back access seats for shows sometimes this isn’t possible, but please e-mail us to see what can be done.

The Main Theatre has step-free access from front door to bar. The fire exits onto Dole Lane are also step-free.

The front section of seats (Rows A – F) are open-ended on a gentle slope. The rear section (G – N) has steps, walls at either end, and is steeper than the front section.

The main theatre has one accessible toilet, located in the corridor between auditorium and bar.

Our Studio space has one step into the Main Entrance, but the rest is all on the same level. Wheelchairs can come in through the fire doors. There is one accessible toilet.

Seating in the Studio is flexible and laid out depending on the show. If you require a wheelchair it will probably replace one of the regular seats so please let us know, and we will arrange this as well as reserve seats for anyone else in your group.

Please see our Contact Us page to get directions to Chorley Theatre.
