Chorley Theatre have partnered with ‘evolve’ to provide drama workshops for the over 50s. Those who have attended have made new friends and developed new skills. There are games, exercises, a sharing of ideas and new ways to be creative. But mainly, the workshops, have provided fun!
The workshops started in July 2023 and have proved very popular, however there are still places available and anyone can join at any time. They are held weekly:
Monday: 11.30am-1pm or 1.30pm-3pm
Wednesday: 11.30am-1pm or 1.30pm-3pm
Sunday: 5pm-6.30pm
Each workshop lasts 1½ hours and costs £10 per person, per workshop. Apply via this link – choose your session and let’s go….

The workshops are delivered by Mark Jones who has directed 19 productions over a 20-year period at Chorley Theatre, the last 10 years he has been overall Artistic Director. He is also a qualified ‘people’ specialist with over 30 years working to develop people of all ages. Due to this experience, students will finish the programme with many new skills which they can apply in everyday life
