When William Beech is evacuated to the idyllic English countryside he forms an unlikely friendship with elderly recluse Tom Oakley. Life is good until William is unexpectedly called back to London to face his mother and the horrors of the Blitz.

Winner of the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize and commended for the Carnegie Medal, Goodnight Mister Tom continues to inspire audiences and bring generations together.
