2:22 A Ghost Story
Chorley Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society present a spooky new play from the host of Radio 4’s Uncanny
Written by Danny Robins
Directed by Adam Smith
Jenny and Sam have just moved into a new house, eager to start afresh — but each night at 2:22 a.m., Jenny is haunted by the sounds of movement and a voice echoing through the dark. She becomes convinced their home is full of restless spirits. Sam, pragmatic and rational, refuses to accept her claims.
In a desperate attempt to prove her truth, they host a dinner party for two friends, Lauren and Ben, and persuade everyone to stay awake until 2:22. As midnight deepens into early morning, belief and skepticism collide — and what emerges is far more terrifying than any ghost story.
From the writer and presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Uncanny, this suspenseful drama plays on the primal fears we all experience as human beings.
