Audition Notice – Cluedo

Synopsis:
It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well . . . dead. So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs White, Reverend Green, Mrs Peacock, and Colonel Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular HASBRO board game, Cluedo is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
Overview:
The play is a fast-paced farce with elements of physical comedy and slapstick, often featuring characters hidden and mistaken identities, leading to constant confusion and laughter. For some characters this may be physically demanding as there are occasions necessitating the hefting of “dead” bodies! The main roles are on for the whole play- there is very little time off stage.
Rehearsals will be 3-4 times per week; these will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and/or Sunday.
The first read through will be on Wednesday 17th June.
