December Cancellations

With the announcement that Lancashire will be in Tier 3 when lockdown ends this means theatres and cinemas are unable to open. We are going to cancel the November and December shows and will be in touch with ticket holders. The Houghton Weavers will move to 2021.

Our Panto, The Snow Queen, has already moved back a year.

Please keep checking our website for rescheduled dates for whenever we are allowed to re-open. We have spent thousands of pounds making the venue COVID-secure and we believe it’s one of the safest places people can visit right now, but we have to go by regulations and rather than constantly postpone shows it’s best to cancel and then audiences can rebook with confidence if and when we re-open.

We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and support, in particular all the people who came during our brief re-opening in October-November. It was great to see so many familiar faces and get such lovely feedback. We’re a community venue here to entertain the town and it’s heartbreaking we are unable to do so. Please keep safe, wear a mask, maintain social distancing and take care – and we’ll see you soon.

Military Wives
Misbehaviour
Elf
