Matt’s message:
“Unfortunately, my show on 28th February at Chorley Theatre has been postponed.
As you may be aware, I was diagnosed with cancer at the end of last year. If you weren’t aware, I’m sorry you’ve had to find out this way.
I had surgery a few months ago and was recently discharged from hospital. The operation was a success, but because it involved the base of my spine being removed, I’m now learning to walk and stand again. You can probably see where this is heading. It’s quite hard to be a stand-up comedian if you can’t stand up.
Luckily for me, this is only a temporary problem and I’ll literally be back on my feet soon and mocking politicians on right, left and centre.
I can’t wait to perform back in Chorley. A new date will be announced soon and your ticket will remain valid (any refund requests will be processed after the new date has been set).
Thank God this has happened at the start of what promises to be a quiet year here and in America.

“Hello everyone. Due to unforeseen circumstances I’m having to rearrange my tour to this Autumn. I haven’t made this decision lightly and I’ll be able to explain more in due course. All shows will be rescheduled, venues will be in touch directly and I really hope you will be able to make the new dates. I’ve really loved previewing the show up and down the country for the last 6 months and I can’t wait to get back out there asap. Again, hope you understand, and I love you all xx”
